About Us

Fondation Ngalla is a nonprofit organization registered in Washington, D.C., United States, dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Babouantou, a village in the West Region of Cameroon, Africa.

Rooted in tradition, the foundation is composed of distinguished men known as Ngalla—respected custodians of culture and tradition. These individuals are carefully selected based on established criteria and entrusted with the responsibility of upholding the customs, values, and identity of the Babouantou people.

Under the leadership of Mba Mbeuh Tchouantchieu, a visionary deeply grounded in cultural knowledge and community development, Fondation Ngalla is committed to fostering unity, preserving heritage, and improving the quality of life for its people both in the diaspora and back home. He is a devoted family man, supported by his loving wife and children, as well as a team of dedicated Ngalla leaders who share a unified vision for a stronger and more connected future.

Fondation Ngalla actively engages in impactful initiatives including cultural promotion in the Haut-Nkam region, educational support, youth literacy programs for children born in the United States, language preservation, and humanitarian efforts in Babouantou. These efforts include clean water initiatives, mobile medical clinics, and outreach programs providing care and support to elders and vulnerable populations.

Through regular meetings and fundraising events, the foundation mobilizes resources to sustain its projects. It also collaborates with healthcare professionals—doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and institutions—inviting them to contribute through donations of medical equipment, supplies, and volunteer services both locally and in Cameroon.

The impact of Fondation Ngalla is reflected in the heartfelt testimonials from families, elders, and communities whose lives have been positively transformed.

We warmly welcome individuals and partners who share our passion to join us in advancing this meaningful mission.
