1. Cultural Preservation & Promotion
Fondation Ngalla is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich traditions, customs, and identity of the Babouantou people and the wider Haut-Nkam region. Through cultural events, storytelling, and community engagement, we ensure that our heritage is passed on to future generations.
2. Language Learning Initiative
We promote the learning and preservation of the Haut-Nkam language, especially among children born in the United States. This program helps strengthen cultural identity and maintain a strong connection between the diaspora and their roots.
3. Education & Youth Literacy Program
Our foundation supports education by providing books, learning materials, and mentorship to students. We also encourage reading culture among young people, helping them build confidence and succeed academically.
4. Clean Water Initiative
We work to improve access to clean and safe drinking water in Babouantou and surrounding communities. This project aims to enhance public health and reduce waterborne diseases.
5. Mobile Medical Clinic
Fondation Ngalla organizes mobile clinics that bring healthcare services directly to the community, especially to elders and underserved populations. Services include general check-ups, blood pressure monitoring, and diabetes screening.
6. Medical Outreach & Volunteer Program
We collaborate with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who volunteer their time and expertise. These professionals travel to Babouantou or support outreach efforts to provide essential medical care to vulnerable populations.
7. Community Support & Humanitarian Aid
The foundation provides assistance to families in need through donations and support programs. This includes outreach to vulnerable individuals and communities facing hardship.
8. Orphanage Support Program
Fondation Ngalla has made donations to orphanages in Cameroon, providing essential supplies and support to improve the well-being of children in need.
9. Medical Equipment & Supplies Initiative
We seek and facilitate donations of medical equipment and supplies such as blood pressure machines, diabetes testing kits, medications, and ultrasound equipment to strengthen local healthcare capacity.
10. Fundraising & Community Engagement Events
Through regular meetings, fundraising events, and community gatherings, Fondation Ngalla raises resources to sustain its projects and expand its impact.
